Seam Change
Research Information
My PhD Research
I am currently completing a PhD in Fashion & Textiles at RMIT University. My research focuses on exploring how textile waste is being upcycled or remanufactured locally by actors like those I have interviewed, with the goal of understanding these types of practices better. These interviews are part of my data, and I hope that by sharing them through a podcast format, other local creatives can engage with the knowledge they contain, and contribute to the conversation.
If you'd like to cite these episodes, you'll find citation information in each episode's show notes, or to cite the series as a whole see below:

Podcast Engagement
As I want to engage other creatives in this discussion around my research, and hear their thoughts on the experiences of those who I have interviewed, I am taking note of engagement with the podcast, either through reviews and other stats available, as well as engagement through my Instagram. Through analysing and adding up your insights and engagement, I’m hoping to get feedback on my research. This might be things like how effective is a podcast format, whether particular aspects of the interviews resonate or not, and how information in the interviews may equip you or others to work in this way. By engaging with the podcast, you are opting in to this part of the research.
If you wish for your identifiable engagement (eg reviews) to be excluded from the research, please contact me via the email listed below. If you have any concerns, please see additional contact information listed.
